Intellectual Property Protection
Chords Book by Wilson Gamit Production respects the intellectual property rights of others. Our platform hosts a hybrid library: 50% consists of official arrangements written by our own team, and the other 50% is user-generated via the Artist Studio. We act as a service provider under the "safe harbor" provisions of applicable copyright laws for community contributions.
Artist Responsibility
Every artist who uses our Studio to upload content is solely responsible for ensuring they possess the necessary rights or authorization to share that music.
- Content must be original work or authorized transcriptions.
- Official Wilson Gamit Production songs are proprietary and protected by copyright.
- Repeat Infringers: Users who repeatedly violate copyright policies will have their Artist Studio access permanently revoked and their account restricted.
Fair Use Notice
All song lyrics and chords on this platform are intended for educational and personal worship use only. We do not claim ownership of third-party musical compositions. Our goal is to provide a resource for learning and practicing worship music through our own arrangements and community collaborations.
Takedown Procedure
If you believe that your copyrighted work has been uploaded to Chords Book without authorization, please notify us. We respond expeditiously to valid notices. Upon receipt of a valid notice, we will:
- Disable access to or remove the infringing material within 24-48 hours.
- Notify the artist who contributed the material and place their song on Hold.
- Maintain a record of the incident for moderation purposes.
Submit a Notice
To request removal of content, email our copyright agent with the subject "DMCA Takedown Request". Please include the specific URL and proof of your ownership or authorization.
